Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for taking out a side panel capable of coping with any change of the vehicle kind.
SOLUTION: Side panels 2 suspended by a hanger 3 are taken out one by one by a robot arm 4 and a hand tool 5. The hand tool 5 comprises a first holding unit 7, a second holding unit 8 and a connection member 9. The first holding unit 7 comprises a side sill sensor 10, a front sensor 11, a first attitude sensor 12, and a first vacuum pad 13. The second holding unit 8 comprises a rear sensor 14, a second attitude sensor 15, and a second vacuum pad 16. The attitude of the side panel 2 is detected by the first and second attitude sensors 12 and 15, and the hand tool 5 is shifted in the transverse direction to detect a side sill 2s and a rear wheel house 2w by the side sill sensor 10 and the rear sensor 14, respectively. The hand tool 5 is shifted in the longitudinal direction to detect a front pillar lower part 2f by the front sensor 11, and to such and hold the side panel 2 by the first and second vacuum pads 13 and 16.
