To provide a method and a device to form a line-form body of two layers from a packet in tobacco-processing industry.
Two packet lines are from a large number of packets which exist relatively longitudinally on a surface where two lines of paths join. The packet lines are raised and lowered on the surfaces being vertically separated from each other in the opposite directions, and the packet lines are fed to the center by both end parts, on the sides. Then, the packet lines are vertically arranged and mounted to each other while reducing an interval in the vertical direction. Two housing pockets 8, 9, 11, 12 belong to path-form transfer means 3, 4, and these housing pockets are operate-combined with a push-in-feeding means which works on the packet 2 in the direction to the line forming surface, on the line forming surface, and operate-combined to a lateral transfer means which delivers the packet to an integral transfer means at the center, at the side areas on the delivery surface.
