PURPOSE: To separate and remove labels on a rectangular label support paper from the one at the front end to the one at the rear end one after another.

CONSTITUTION: A rectangular label support paper P in a support paper feeding mechanism 10 is separated sheet by sheet by a support paper carrying mechanism 20 and push-out releasing mechanism 30, and carried to a releasing location. The label support paper P is reversed while the rear edge side of a first label L at the front end in the carrying direction of the label support paper P is being pushed out under a bent condition by a knife edge 33 of the push-out releasing mechanism 30, and the label L is released from the rear edge side, and is taken out from a take-out port 51. Then, at the time of releasing of the second and the following labels L, the label support paper P is continuously and intermittently force-carried while being pushed out under a bent condition, and each label L is released from the front edge side and taken out.
