In this data transmitting system having a color flash signal transmitting means 11 and a color display means 12, the color flash signal transmitting means 11 performs the arithmetic processing of a data value specified to hue to convert it into a hue difference, and the color display means 12 successively displays a second color whose hue is different only by the hue difference following the first color. Also, in the data receiving system having an image sensor means 20 and a color flash signal receiving means 21, the color flash signal receiving means 20 calculates the hue difference of respective pixels between image frames successively imaged by the image sensor means 21, and extracts pixels generating the hue difference which is a fixed value or more as signal components, and performs the arithmetic processing of a hue difference generated in the signal components to convert it into a data value, and receives the data value.
