Abstract:
To provide a method and device for updating the reflection coefficient which can be used for reducing the number of division calculations required for updating the reflection coefficient of a lattice type filter and for allowing the lattice type filter to be used to identify the characteristics of an unknown system.
The method for updating the reflection coefficient of the lattice type filter updates the reflection coefficient so as to minimize a forward prediction error.
