PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for winding a tape body with a coreless winding layer formed in a storage box.

CONSTITUTION: A tape body 1 is fed along an oscillating guide member 3, and the tip of the guide member 3 is led from the side wall opening part 27 of a storage box 4 to the center part in the storage box 4. A spindle 6 is inserted from a center through hole 23 in at least one of the top and back faces 21, 22 of the storage box 4, and the guide end of the tape body 1 is gripped by the grip part of the spindle 6 and wound onto the periphery of the spindle 6 by the rotation of the spindle 6. The cutting of the tape body 1 and the pull-out of the spindle 6 are performed upon completing the winding of the fixed length.
