The method for discharging liquid discharges droplets of liquid from a plurality of discharging nozzles arranged at a predetermined nozzle pitch toward a landing area in the disposing compartment comparted on a substrate. The plurality of discharging nozzles include a first discharging nozzle that discharges droplets toward a range of nozzle pitch including a center position of the landing area in a longitudinal direction. A discharge rate per unit area with respect to the landing area is lower in the first discharging nozzle than in other discharging nozzles.
