Title:
METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATORY DETECTION OF HUMAN HERPES VIRUS AND REAGENT THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07250699
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accomplish the subject detection of plural human herpes virus easily, quickly, specifically and in high sensitivity, by amplifying plural kinds of human herpes virus nucleic acids in a specimen using plural amplifying primers followed by discriminatory determination using a specificity detective probe.

CONSTITUTION: At least two kinds of human herpes virus nucleic acids in a specimen are amplified using at least four kinds of amplifying primers each containing an oligonucleotide having a homology of 70% or higher and nucleic acid sequence(s) selected from at least two sequences selected from a group composed of a group A of sequences of formulas I-VIII, a group B of sequences of formulas IX-XIV and a group C of sequences of formulas XV0XX, followed by detecting the virus by Southern blotting hybridization method, etc., using a specific detective probe, thus accomplishing the aimed discriminatory detection of plural or all human herpes virus easily, quickly, specifically and in high sensitivity.
