Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decode an information code displayed on a screen even when any scratch or dirt is detected on the screen of a display unit, or mirror reflection is partially caused on the screen of the display unit.
SOLUTION: Images with the same QR code 11 are displayed several times with a time interval on the screen of a liquid crystal display unit, and the images to be displayed several times are displayed so as to be rotated by 90 degrees mutually each time. When mirror reflection is caused on the screen where the QR code 11 is displayed, or any scratch or dirt is attached to the screen, an information code to be displayed on the screen is made partially unreadable by an optical information reading device. In this case, the QR code 11 is displayed so as to be rotated three times by 90 degrees each. Thus, even when there is any unreadable part when the RQ code 11 is displayed the first time, the part is made readable when the QR code 11 is displayed the second time or following times.
