To graphically display the magnitude of statistical values about a weft insertion state in a loom on a time axis so that, when abnormality is observed in the statistical values, the cause of the abnormality can be easily determined.
In a loom, on the basis of a weft arrival time detected in each weft insertion, statistical values about the weft arrival times for each predetermined sampling period are calculated. The loom includes a display device which stores, in a time-series manner, the statistical values sequentially calculated with the progress of weaving and graphically displays the magnitude of the stored statistical values with time on a time axis. The display device displays information about a cause of a variation in the flying of the weft (information about operation for resetting the weft-insertion conditions, and information about other changes in weaving conditions) on the same screen on which the statistical values are displayed.
