Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for drawing, reducing and sizing a seamless metallic tube by which defective bar stripping is not generated even when drawing, reducing and sizing are executed, by using a size capable of interstand tension imparting rolling.
SOLUTION: It is detected with the detector 7 that the tip of a materiel 5 to be rolled is bitten into a 1st stand of the sizer 4. With a controller 8 receiving this detected signal, the number of revolutions of the roll of the preceding stage of a biting stand is successively reduced down to the number of revelations of roll at the time of deceleration based on the deceleration timing that is preliminary inputted according to the tip of the material 5 to be rolled is successively bitten into the stands after the 2nd stand. When the deceleration of the number of revolutions of roll of the sizer 4 is controlled like this, tension is not affected on the material 5 to be rolled in simultaneous rolling with a mandrel mill 3 and the sizer 4. Consequently, it is eliminated for the material 5 to be rolled after rolling with the mandrel mill 3 to strongly stick to a mandrel bar 2 and detective bar stripping and thickness deviation in the length direction of the axis of tube are not generated.
