METHOD FOR DRIVING LIGHTING PRISM FOR SUNLIGHT LIGHTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for driving lighting prisms of a sunlight lighting device which is inexpensively producible and reduces electric power consumption in spite of degradation in the accuracy of a lighting characteristic to a negligible extent in practicable use.
CONSTITUTION: This sunlight lighting device having plural pieces of lighting prisms is constituted to alternately and intermittently drive the respective lighting prisms by each piece in prescribed sequence in such a manner that the respective lighting prisms attain the optimum rotating angle corresponding to the sun position of every hour. In such a case, if the lighting prims are ≥3 pieces, ≥1 sets formed by setting prescribed ≥2 pieces of the lighting prisms as a set are formed and the lighting prisms of these sets may by alternately and intermittently driven in each set in prescribed sequence. The sequence to intermittently drive the lighting prisms is preferably such that the intermittent driving is executed in the best sequence by comparing the respective sequences at every time in view of the deviation rates from the center of the optical axis, etc. In addition, various kinds of the driving method stated in specification are possible.
