Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a transmission capable of restricting increasing in starting torque of a motor as viscosity of lubricant oil is increased under low temperature environment.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for driving a transmission comprising: a low speed shaft; an electric motor; a high speed shaft; a speed increasing mechanism; and a control part for controlling the electric motor. The speed increasing mechanism comprises: a ring member having an annular member; a first fixed roller arranged between the annular ring member and the high speed shaft; a second fixed roller and a movable roller; and a temperature detector for detecting a temperature of the lubricant oil. The control part rotates the electric motor in a normal direction when a temperature detected by the temperature sensor is more than a first temperature and the electric motor is rotated in a reverse direction when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is lower than the first temperature, the electric motor is rotated in a reverse direction and subsequently the electric motor is rotated in a normal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
