CONSTITUTION: Beans A contaminated by soil, etc., and grinding and cleaning material B consisting of chaff, rice bran, etc., are charged into a drier 1 under a mixed state. Then the beans A and grinding and cleaning material B are dried with drying hot wind circulating while flowing while stirring and blending by a stirring wing 8 and simultaneously the contaminated beans are ground and cleaned with a grinding and cleaning material. As the result, the beans are finished and dried into a prescribed water content value without injuring the beans on the surface by a buffer action of the grinding and cleaning material and simultaneously the contaminated beans are cleaned to remarkably improve the commercial value of dried beans.
