PURPOSE: To prevent unequal drying and to speed of drying to finger touch by executing the drying to finger touch by using a means for sealing the solvent vapor generated from a coating liquid film to the circumference of the coating liquid film during the prescribed time during and after the discharge of a coating compd., a means for feeding a specified quantity of wind into the sealed atmosphere and a means for discharging the specified quantity of the wind from the sealed atmosphere.
CONSTITUTION: The solvent vapor on a base body cylinder 1 is sealed into a hood 13 by the hood and the solvent vapor attains saturation in the space volume of the hood 13 so that the leveling of the applied coating compd. progresses in an air-liquid equil. state. The solvent vapor filling the inside of the hood 13 is discharged at the specified quantity and flow rate through a force air feed pipe 17 and a force discharge pipe 18 by opening an openable/ closable shutter 19, by which the coated film is dried. The unequal drying is prevented in this way and the drying to finger touch is speeded up.
