METHOD FOR DYEING BOTH SURFACES OF SYNTHETIC RESIN FIBER WOVEN OR NONWOVEN FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05214681
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To dye both the surfaces of a synthetic resin fiber woven or nonwoven fabric using acrylic fibers or polyester fibers in different colors, respectively, without employing a dye-fixing agent by dyeing both the surfaces of the fabric and subsequently heat-transferring a dye to one or both of the dyed surfaces.

CONSTITUTION: Both the surfaces of a synthetic resin fiber woven or nonwoven fabric using acrylic fibers or polyester fibers are wholly immersed in a dyeing bath containing a disperse dye or cation dye, dyed and subsequently dried. One surface or both surfaces of the dyed woven or nonwoven fabric is subjected to a dye thermal sublimation transfer treatment to obtain the dyed product in which the front and back surfaces of the fabric have different patterns and colors, respectively.
