Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely prevent the biting between a pressurizing plunger and a product at the time of ejecting the product by once sliding the pressurizing plunger in the reverse direction to the sticking direction from the pressurized position preceding to the sticking movement of the pressurizing plunger after opening die.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of completing the casting, by starting a motor 20, the whole frame 1 is turned to the optional turning position. Then, at the time of opening the die 2, by working a pressurizing cylinder 13, the pressurizing plunger 12 is retreated by the previous stroke H from the pressurized position until then and positioned to a waiting position. By this method, even if the product W and the pressurizing plunger 12 develop the biting in the solidifying process of molten metal M, the product W and the pressurizing plunger 12 are surely separated. After once retreating the pressurizing plunger 12 to the waiting position, reversely, the pressurizing plunger 12 is stuck to the ejecting position of the product at the front of the previous pressurized position without stopping and the product W is separated from a movable die 4 and ejected.
