A method of embedding a rainwater penetration basin is a construction method for embedding the rainwater penetration basin having a rainwater discharge hole on at least a bottom part underground and includes: (1) a step of arranging a tubular casing for excavation at an excavation position; (2) a step of providing an excavation pit by excavating soil inside the casing while press-fitting the casing into the ground; (3) a step of forming a water infiltration layer at least at the bottom part of the excavation pit; (4) a step of arranging the rainwater penetration basin in an excavated space inside the casing; and (5) a step of installing concrete in a gap between the rainwater penetration basin and the soil while pulling the casing upwards.
