PURPOSE: To carry out the ending of a yarn, easily and surely, by clamping the yarn end of a package with a pair of piecing rollers in the case of end-breakage in a tie-spinning frame, and introducing the yarn end into an air false-twisting nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: The yarn end wound to a package P is pulled out from the surface of the package by the roller 20 and the pick-up means of an ending device, received by a pair of piecing rollers 22, and guided to the end-feeding position D in front of the outlet of the air false-twisting nozzle 4. The direction of the yarn is made to coincide with the yarn path of the air false-twisting nozzle 4. Thereafter, the end-suction pipe 21 introduced between a pair of front rollers 3,3' of the drafting zone is made to contact with the yarn path of the air false- twisting nozzle 4 at the upstream side, and the yarn is threaded into the nozzle 4 by sucking air therethrough. The end suction pipe 21 is removed from the gap between the front rollers 3,3', the yarn end is introduced into the gap, and the ending operation is fishished to restart the spinning.
