Abstract:

To provide the estimation method of a conductor temperature in the entire longitudinal direction of a power cable by using temperature data outside a pipeline and current value data flowing through the power cable that can be measured easily.

In the conductor temperature estimation method of the power cable in an underground pipeline, the conductor temperature of the power cable laid inside the pipeline being buried in the underground is estimated by using the temperature data outside the pipeline and the current value data of the power cable. In the conductor temperature estimation method, atmospheric temperature data at a discontinuity in the longitudinal direction of the pipeline or the surface temperature data of the power cable are used to estimate the conductor temperature in the entire longitudinal direction of the power cable between the discontinuities of the pipeline.
