Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating spring water pressure of the natural ground which can accurately estimate the spring water pressure of the natural ground without closing an aperture in an entrance of a borehole.SOLUTION: A method for estimating spring water pressure of the natural ground based on investigating boring conducted prior to tunnel construction comprises a process for drilling a borehole B in a natural ground G by using a casing 1 provided with drilling bits 2 at its tip portion. And this process is composed of: a first step of imaging hole wall images of the borehole B via a wall surface of the casing 1 by using an imaging device 4 equipped within the casing 1 and also taking spring water amount data measured at a borehole entrance Ba according to a drilling progress; a second step of creating a void distributing model M in the hole wall based on the hole wall image; a third step of executing fluid analysis by using the void distribution model M to calculate a coefficient of permeability; and a fourth step of performing numerical analysis by using the spring water amount data and the coefficient of permeability to estimate the spring water pressure of the natural ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
