To provide a method which enables the strength of a soil improving body formed by a high-pressure jet mixing method to be simply and accurately estimated in a short period of time after construction.
This method for estimating the strength of the soil improving body comprises: an improved soil sampling step of sampling improved soil from the soil improving body before the hardening of the hardener solution of the soil improving body 60 which is created by jetting the hardener solution from a spray nozzle of an injection rod penetrating to a predetermined depth in ground by the high-pressure jet mixing method, so as to agitate and mix it; a strength measurement sample making step of making a sample for the measurement of the strength from the improved soil sampled through the improved soil sampling step; an accelerated curing step of performing the accelerated curing of the sample for the measurement of the strength, made through the strength measurement sample making step; a strength measuring step of measuring the strength of the sample for the measurement of the strength after the accelerated curing step; and a strength estimating step of estimating the strength of the soil improving body on the basis of the strength of the sample for the measurement of the strength, which is obtained by the strength measuring step. The method for estimating the strength of the soil improving body enables the improved soil to be sampled in an arbitrary position within the design range of the soil improving body.
