Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating an electrospinning device capable of simply evaluating performance of an electrospinning device used for, for example, production of nanofibers.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for evaluating an electrospinning device 10 comprising a nozzle 13 and an electrode 14. Under a condition in which DC voltage is applied and an electric field E is formed between the electrode 14 and the nozzle 13, water is supplied to the nozzle 13 and the water is allowed to drip from a tip of the nozzle 13, then the dripped water is collected in a metal container 5. An amount of charge of the collected water is measured by a charge amount measuring device 6. The amount of charge per unit mass of the water is calculated from the measurement value and the mass of the dripped water or the collected water. The electrospinning device is evaluated using the obtained amount of charge per unit mass of the water as an index.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
