Abstract:
To provide a method for evaluating the residual stress of a chemically strengthened glass in a non-invasive, non-destructive, and positionally selective manner.SOLUTION: The residual stress σ of a chemically strengthened glass is calculated by deriving the change rate of a specific volume V, which increases by ion exchange, of the residual stress σ of the chemically strengthened glass from the spectrum microscopic Raman scattering spectrum of a Raman scattering light generated by irradiating a glass before the ion exchange and a glass with a zero-residual stress with a laser beam by a microscopic Raman spectroscopic method using a Raman spectroscopic device for the chemically strengthened glass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
