Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for executing a method, and a recording medium in which a method execution program has been recorded to realize improvement of the processing speed for an inquiry by managing an execution result of the method in a database management system.
SOLUTION: A storage area 42 to store the execution result of the method is provided, the execution result of the method to be obtained by using an index in a database is stored in the storage area 42 when the same method is executed under the same condition for plural times during one inquiry processing, or the execution result of the initial method is stored in the storage area 42 when the method is always executed, the execution result stored in the storage area is used when the second method and afterward is executed, the execution result of the initial method is stored in the storage area in the inquiry processing for plural times including the method, and it is judged whether the execution result of the method in the storage area is usable or not depending on key information which is specified as a retrieval condition when the second method and afterward is executed and the usable execution result is used.
