Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the concentration of dioxins by blowing in an exhaust gas-treating agent comprising compounds having amino group such as NH3- water, sewage sludge or the like into an exhaust gas line of which the exhaust gas temperature becomes a specific temperature or below by controlling the concentration of NH3 of the inlet of a chimney within a specific range in a waste incinerator or the like.
SOLUTION: Waste substance is charged into an incinerator 1, dried, ignited and burnt. Then, a generated exhaust gas is released to the open air from a chimney 3 via an exhaust gas treater 2. In this case, a nozzle is installed to an exhaust gas line 4 leading to the exhaust gas treater 2 from the incinerator 1, and an exhaust gas treating agent comprising at least one compound out of compounds having an amino group such as NH3-water, NH3-gas, pyridine, urea water or sewage sludge or the like is blown in from the nozzle. Further, a blowing-in amount of the exhaust gas treating agent is adjusted so that an exhaust gas NH3-concentration at an inlet part of the chimney 3 is maintained within the range of 0.5-20 ppm. Further, the CO concentration in the exhaust gas is set under 55 ppm within the temperature range of 800°C or below.
