To provide a means for treating aiming at acquirement of autoimmunity in a human body for symptoms in which the names of diseases are malaria, sleeping sickness, leishmaniasis, Chagas' disease, schistosomiasis, onchocerciasis, eye complication, dracontiasis, dengue fever, and yellow fever (hereinafter abbreviated as malaria, or malaria parasites) etc.
The means for treating the malaria which is the name of disease aiming at the acquirement of the autoimmunity in the human body is obtained by carrying out alkali extraction and purification of an active ingredient which serves as an antigen from malaria parasites or mosquitoes using, e.g. an alkaline aqueous solution of ethanol adjusted to a pH concentration of ≥8.0, performing subcutaneous injection, intravenous injection, and peroral administration of the active ingredient which can serve as the antigen of the malaria parasites without toxicity at all into the human body, forming an antigen-antibody complex in the human body, and thereby establishing immunological memory for the malaria which is the name of disease in the human body.
