Abstract:
To provide a method for effectively and environmentally safely isolating analog of taxanes.
The method comprises use of a preparative high-performance liquid chromatography in an industrial scale. The method uses a "Load and Lock Axial Compression Column", wherein the column is packed with any packing material, including small particle size (e.g., about 10 μm). The method is one in which a piston is used to maintain pressure, and the maintaining of the pressure effectively and substantially prevents formation of voids in the bed and the efficiency of the process is effectively increased.
