PURPOSE: To provide a device which can extrude a high-quality product directly from molten metal.
CONSTITUTION: A passage 3 is formed by an endless groove 2 of a rotary wheel 1 provided with the endless groove 2 on the outer periphery and a fixed shoe 4 covering the endless groove 2, molten metal 5 is poured continuously into one end of this passage 3, this molten metal 5 is solidified in the passage 3, an extruding pressure is generated by friction resistance due to contact between the inner wall of the endless groove 2 accompanying the rotation of the rotary wheel 1 and a solidified body 8 and the body 8 is extruded through a die 10 arranged in front of the passage 3. A prescribed site on the side of which molten metal 5 of a fixed shoe 4 composing the passage 3 is solidified is composed of good thermal conductive metallic material. Consequently, since the molten metal 5 is cooled fourcedly from the side of the fixed shoe 4, an initial and thick solidifying layer is generated to form a flawless sound solidified body, therefore, to extrude a high-quality product.
