Abstract:
To minimize the probability of false alarm and the probability of misses in watermarking.
A non-local quantization index modulation (QIM) watermarking architecture 100 includes a content producer/provider 122 which generates original contents and delivers the contents to a client 126 on a network 124. The content producer 122 includes a watermark encoding system 132 and inserts, into a digital signal, a sign of watermarking uniquely identifying the contents original. The watermark encoding system 132 applies a watermark to a digital signal from a content storage 130. Ordinarily, the content producer 122 is identified by the watermark, thereby accomplishing a signature that is embedded in a signal and can not be removed clearly.
