Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a coking coal feeding method which prevents gas leak from near a coke oven door just after coking coal is fed.
CONSTITUTION: The gas pressure near a door 3 just after coking coal is fed into a chamber oven is reduced to prevent gas leak by feeding a coal blend 2 through the inside ports of a set of feed ports arranged in the direction of the oven length, feeding a coal briquette (or lump coal) or a blend contg. a coal briquette (or lump coal) through feed ports at both ends at the initial stage of charging, and feeding the coal blend 2 at the latter stage of feed to intensively feed the coal briquette (or lump coal) to near oven bottom door.
