Abstract:
To provide an improved method for fermentatively producing pantothenic acid by using coryneform bacterium.
This method for fermentative production of D-pantothenic acid by using a coryneform bacterium comprises using a bacterium in which a nucleotide sequence (pyc-gene) encoding pyruvic acid carboxylase (EC number 6.4.1.1.) is strengthened and especially excessively expressed.
