Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the flextural process abilities by feeding a thermoplastic resin film or the like into a partial intermediate layer of a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material, preliminarily molding a laminate flat plate and bending the same by a hot press or the like under the heated and pressurized state by means of a molding tool and a hot press device or the like.

CONSTITUTION: Composite material prepregs 1 composed of carbon fiber/polyester ketone (PEEK) are laminated on upper and lower sections and a thermoplastic resin material layer 2 composed of a PEEK film or the like is laminated in the middle. Said laminate molding material is heat pressurized (preliminarily molded) by a hot press device 3 to manufacture a laminate flat plate 4. Then the laminate flat plate 4, a release film 6 and the thermoplastic resin material layer 2 are set in a molding tool 5, and heat pressurized by the molding tool 5 and molded. At that time, the laminate flat plate 4 is folded and bent easily by the thermoplastic resin material layer 4, and as the separated resin material 2 is melted and moved to plate thickness varying sections of bent corner sections, a molded product 7 without creases, disorder of fiber and breakage thereof can be obtained.
