Abstract:
To provide a method for linearly forming a folded sheet with at least 16 pages at a high sheet processing speed.
This method folds a sheet into a folded sheet with at least 16 pages. (a) The sheet is folded up along the center line of the sheet vertically extending to the supplying-carrying direction of the sheet, and thereby forms a first folded sheet with 4 pages. (b) The first folded sheet is folded up along a fold line extending in the longitudinal direction to the supplying-carrying direction, and thereby, forms a second folded sheet with 8 pages. (c) The second folded sheet is folded up along a fold line extending in the longitudinal direction to the supplying-carrying direction, and thereby, forms a third folded sheet with 16 pages.
