To provide a method of forming a coating film comprising the steps of forming a prime coating film and a second coating film on an inorganic substrate and applying, to the substrate, a top coat containing a silica sol compound organopolysiloxane having an epoxy group as a binder so as to form a coating film having excellent stain resistance, weathering properties, warm water resistance with respect to appearance and adhesiveness and freeze damage.
The method comprises the steps of applying (A) a prime coat to an inorganic substrate to form a prime coating film, applying (B) an intermediate coat to the surface of the prime coating film to form an intermediate coating film and applying (C) a top coat containing a silica sol compound organopolysiloxane having an epoxy group as a binder to the surface of the intermediate coating film to form a top coating film.
