Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily forming a finned plate the height of the fine of which is sufficient without costing and by which increase of the size of a rolling device is evaded.
SOLUTION: Because a lot of fine grooves 13 which are parallel to the rotary shaft of a work roll are made on either or both of two rolling rolls 16, 20 comprising work rolls 6, at the time of rolling, by making a base stock 2 enter these fine grooves 13, the deformation (elongation) of a material in the rolling direction is suppressed and the elongation in thinner parts 36 in the longitudinal directiod is restrained. Because tensile force to fin parts 32 from the thinner parts 36 is also eliminated, elongation is not generated in the fin parts 32 and the deformation (upheaval) of the material to the groove parts 12 for forming the fin parts 32 is increased. Consequently, the fin parts 32 of the finned plate 30 are matched to the shape of the groove parts 12 of the work roll 16 and the sufficient height of the fin is obtained.
