PURPOSE: To uniformly give gloss by providing a process that an electrostatic latent image is directly formed on an electrostatic recording body by actuating an electric field and a process that the electrostatic latent image is developed by specified liquid developer.
CONSTITUTION: The process that the electrostatic latent image is directly formed on the electrostatic recording body by actuating the electric field and the process that the electrostatic latent image is developed by the liquid developer containing electrostatic charged non-aqueous distribution resin are provided. Besides, a process that a developed image is fixed is provided as necessary. Then, the liquid developer is constituted of the mixture of insulating carrier liquid and binding agent resin, besides, electric charge control agent and scattering stabilizing agent or the like as necessary. Therefore, not only irregularities such as a blot is prevented from occurring in an image but also the gloss can be locally and selectively given to a desired part whether it is an image part or a non-image part. Besides, a special device need not be provided for giving the gloss, and a conventional electrostatic recording system developing device can be used as it is.
