To provide a cooling passageway precisely and correctly cast for obtaining the maximum cooling effect from a given amount of cooling air, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.
The investment casting pattern composed of wax is molded using a die 200. A ceramic core 216 and refractory metal cores 202 to 214 are used in combination. The refractory metal cores 202 to 214 are composed of a spine 222 and a plurality of tines 220. The spine 222 is fitted to a first element 260 of a die to leave so as to allow the tines 220 to protrude from the first element 260. After fitting, the first element 260 is assembled with a feed core 216 and a second element 262 of the molding die so that the tines 220 are in contact with the feed core 216. A wax material is injected into a cavity at the inside. Each tine 220 serving as a cooling hole has one or more surface area enhancements.
