PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a rib to a cannula so as to cooperate with a safety cover for surely locking the tip of the cannula in an internal chamber under high reliability. SOLUTION: The safety cover 20 is provided with a longitudinal main body provided with the internal chamber and a through-hole in an axial direction. The through-hole is extended over the entire length of the main body and the cannula is slidably inserted through the through-hole and the internal chamber. Respective members to be displaced inside the cover 20 are provided in the internal chamber. The members are provided with holes for passing through the cannula 18, are displaced as soon as the tip is pulled out from the hole and prevent the tip from being discharging forwards thereafter. The cannula is provided with the rib of a thick diameter adjacent to the tip and the cover 20 is provided with a cap-like part on the rear part. The through-hole passed through the rear part of the safety cover is provided with a diameter smaller than the rib of the thick diameter of the cannula 18 and the tip is not pulled out to the back of the cover 20.
