Abstract:

To provide a method of forming a silicone rubber thin film coating layer by which a thin film having excellent storage stability, cured at a remarkably high speed and particularly, capable of satisfactorily covering a base material by the irradiation with ultraviolet ray is formed using an addition curable silicone rubber composition by ultraviolet curing and a silicone rubber thin film coated article having the silicone rubber thin film coating layer formed by the method.

The addition curable silicone rubber composition prepared by blending (A) organopolysiloxane containing two or more alkenyl groups bonded with silicon atom in one molecule, (B) organohydrogen polysiloxane having two or more hydrogen atoms bonded with silicon atoms in one molecule, (C) a platinum or platinum compound catalyst and (D) a phosphorous acid expressed by (R-O-)3P (R expresses substituted or unsubstituted univalent hydrocarbon group) is applied on the surface of the base material and irradiating the coated surface with ultraviolet ray to be cured to form the silicone rubber thin film coating layer.
