Abstract:
To provide a sugar thin film forming method with which it is possible to form a thin and uniform sugar thin film, and an elastic surface wave sensor.SOLUTION: A coating of undiluted sugar solution 40 is applied to a propagation path 331 of a SAW device 30 as shown in (A), and compressed air is blown out obliquely from above the propagation path 331 using a nozzle 50, etc., as shown in (B). An excess of the undiluted sugar solution 40 is blown away by wind pressure (air blow) and the solvent of the undiluted sugar solution 40 covering the surroundings of the propagation path 331 is instantaneously evaporated by wind pressure, and a sugar thin film is formed thereby.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
