PURPOSE: To generate a plane view in which the positive projection of a contour graphic is performed in an arbitrary direction by generating a vertical plane in a projecting direction including the initial position of a camera, performing the positive projection of a line of sight group on the plane observing each point of the contour graphic as translating the camera, and generating the plane view of the contour graphic as the set of the accumulation point of the line of the sight group.
CONSTITUTION: Firstly, the plane vertical to a vector W including the initial position C0 of the camera is generated. The three-dimensional position of a point P on a circle A is unknown, however, since a line of slight l0 facing with the point P from the initial position C0 of the camera can be recognized, a line l0' in which the line of sight is positively projected on the plane can be found. The similar processing is repeated as translating the camera on the plane as C1, C2,..., an accumulation intersection P' can be obtained as a point in which the point P is positively projected in a direction of W by finding the intersection P' of the line of sight group positively projected, and a graphic A' consisting of the set of the P' is congruent to the original circle A. In such a way, it is possible to generate the plane view in which the positive projection of a general contour graphic is performed in the arbitrary direction.
