Abstract:
To provide a method for holding molds and a suction pipeline apparatus capable of easily preventing fin without deforming vacuum molds made by a vacuum molding process.
In a method for holding molds during pouring molten metal into vacuum molds, in which upper and lower mold halves are mated with one another, comprising suction flasks communicating with a vacuum source via a suction pipeline, forming films, a heat-resistive granular filler, and shielding members, the pressure in the vacuum molds during pouring is detected so as to be maintained constant on the basis of the detected results.
