To provide a method of hot-press molding a hot-rolled steel sheet, which does not need a control such as a temperature management, when manufacturing a hot-rolled steel sheet to be used, when performing hot-press molding of the hot-rolled steel sheet, and in which the scheduling is easy in a hot-rolling process, enabling improvement in the productivity of the hot rolling and to reduce the cost.
In this molding method of the hot-rolled steel sheet, following processes are sequentially applied; a hot-rolling process to manufacture the hot-rolled steel sheet by performing the hot rolling without controlling properties other than the shape, an acid washing process to acid-wash the hot-rolled steel sheet manufactured by the hot rolling process, a heating process to heat the hot-rolled steel sheet acid-washed in the washing process up to an austenite range, a hot-press molding process to obtain a press-molded article by press-molding the hot-rolled steel sheet heated in the heating process in the austenite range, and a quenching process to perform the quenching of the press mold article obtained in the hot-press molding process.
