To provide the hot-rolling method of an aluminum plate by which a plate profile is properly controlled so that the abnormality of ruggedness is not generated on the aluminum plate in the hot rolling of the aluminum plate and the device for controlling the ruggedness of the aluminum plate.
In the hot rolling of the aluminum plate, the state of the plate profile of the surface of the hot-rolled aluminum plate is measured, the state of a rugged part which is one of the plate profile is recognized based on the measured value and ruggedness ratio crown height h(%) about this rugged part is determined by the following formula (1). h=C/H...(1). (In the formula, H is the thickness of the plate (mm), C is the thickness deviation of the rugged part (mm)). This value of h is compared with a predetermined value and, in the case that h is exceeds the established value, the state of the ruggedness on the surface of the aluminum plate is controlled by taking the value of h so as not to exceed the established value by adjusting rolling parameters.
