Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an amino compound of high purity with the smallest possible amount of a catalyst and at high reaction rate by a hydroreduction reaction which is conducted, for example, when an amino compound is produced from a nitro compound as an intermediate for photograph.
A compound represented by formula (II) is obtained by reducing by hydrogenation a compound represented by formula (I) (wherein, R is an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl, a heterocycle or an arylamino group; X is a halogen) in the presence of an alkali metal salt of acetic acid or an alkaline-earth metal salt of acetic acid.
