Title:
METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING PROTEIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3924062
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily and accurately searchable and identifiable protein even when a number of peaks exist on a mass spectrum by assigning mass data to a plurality of proteins, and by selecting the protein where the mass data due to successive decomposition coincide with sequence data at a high rate.
SOLUTION: The fragmentation and successive decomposition of a plurality of proteins are made, and a plurality of mass data being obtained by the mass analysis are compared with the amino acid sequence data of various protein being obtained in advance, thus identifying the protein. In this case, not only the mass data simply coincide with the sequence data, but also the mass data being obtained by the successive decomposition are identified as an important element. Finally, protein with the largest score is identified by synthetic judgement.
