Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62103293
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the efficiency and safety of working, by projecting light onto reflectors arranged in a dangerous area from light sources arranged out of the dangerous area so that light reflected from the reflectors irradiates the dangerous area. CONSTITUTION:An oil tanker hull 1 is sectioned into a bow section A, a middle section B and a stern section C, the middle section B defining therein a tank 2 and having its upper section serving as an exposed deck which is a dangerous area. An illumination post 3 is planted on the deck of the bow section A which is a safe section and is attached at its top with a normal lamp 4. Further, concave mirrors 8 as reflectors are attached to the front and rear sides of a structure 7 positioned substantially at the center of the exposed deck 2B. As a result, it is possible to irradiate light over a wide area with a small number of light sources, and there are no shade areas so that it is possible to enhance the efficiency of working. Further, it is possible to aim at enhancing the safety of working since there are provided no lamps in the dangerous area.
