Abstract:
PURPOSE: In the impregnation of sheet materials with a liquid resin varnish, said material is moved in the liquid resin under contact with the periphery of a specific hollow body to effect uniform impregnation until the center of sheet material.
CONSTITUTION: Sheet material 9 is brought into contact with the perihery of hollow body 7 which has throughpores 6 on the periphery, at least one part of which is dipped into liquid resin 8 and the inner part of which is kept at a lower pressure than that of the liquid resin, preferably atmospheric pressure, moved in the liquid resin and impregnated. The difference in pressure enables the ready impregnation of sheet materials with resins.
