Abstract:

PURPOSE: To give permeability to the whole of a timber without degrading the quality of the timber.
CONSTITUTION: In a steam blasting method, pressure steam is injected into a pressure container 3 housing a timber 2 so as to boil the timber with steam for a predetermined time and the pressure container is steeply opened to the atmosphere so as to open the blocked wall pares of the timber 2. In this method, a steam boil heat processing including a steam boiling where steam boil condition for one time is loosened and a heating with high frequency is performed. The steam boil heat processing and the atmosphere opening are repeated for a plurality of times. At an interval between the atmosphere opening and the steam boil heat processing, a time left to stand is provided.
